Emergency Planning

“Failing to plan is planning to fail” - Alan Lakein

An effective emergency plan is critical to a successful outcome for your organisation and the people who rely on you during an emergency.

Our senior consultants come from an incident response background and have planned for and managed several major incidents over the years. We therefore understand the needs of category one responders in delivering their responsibilities under the Civil Contingencies Act.
We adopt a consultative approach to all of our resilience work and are particularly experienced at working with multi-agency planning groups. We use the Model for Structured Debriefing to ensure individual and organisational learning after events and incidents. Our post-incident reports are clear, succinct and make practical recommendations for improvement.
Our emergency plans are developed in accordance with the latest resilience guidance and reflect your local needs and risks, including:
  • flood plans;
  • major incident response plans;
  • city centre evacuation plans;
  • rest centre plans;
  • reservoir on site and off site emergency plans;
  • business continuity plans;
  • temporary mortuary plans;
  • COMAH on and off site plans; and
  • recovery plans.
