Resilience and Flood Risk Opportunities for 2014

We are currently recruiting for both permanent and temporary posts at our busy offices in Lichfield, Bedford and Durham.

Experienced Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant (permanent)

Based at either our Lichfield or Bedford office you will be a graduate with a relevant science or engineering degree (e.g. Civil Engineering/ Hydrology/ Environmental science) and more than three years’ experience undertaking flood risk assessments and drainage designs including hydrological and hydraulic calculations, liaising with the client and stakeholders, reporting and making recommendations.

You will need to be highly numerate and an excellent written and verbal communicator keen to develop a career in flood risk and drainage with an established but growing national company. Use of Micro-drainage, Autocad, FEH and the SuDS manual would be a distinct advantage.

Assistant Flood Risk Consultant (permanent)

Based at either our Lichfield or Bedford office you will be a recent graduate with a relevant science or engineering degree (e.g. Civil Engineering/ Hydrology/ Environmental science). Your role will be to assist with flood risk assessments and drainage designs including property level flood protection surveys, hydrological and hydraulic calculations, liaising with clients and stakeholders, reporting and making recommendations. Full training and support towards membership of a relevant professional body is available.

You will need to be highly numerate and a good written and verbal communicator who wants to pursue a career in flood risk and drainage with an established but growing national company.

Assistant Flood Risk Consultant (Temporary)

Based at our Durham office you will be a recent graduate with a relevant degree (e.g. Geography/Hydrology/ Environmental science/Emergency Planning). Your role will be to assist with all aspects of our resilience and flood risk projects including flood risk assessments, exercises and training, property level flood protection surveys, hydrological and hydraulic calculations, liaising with the client and stakeholders, reporting and making recommendations.

You will need to be a good written and verbal communicator who wants to gain experience in resilience and flood risk with an established but growing national company.
